UP: Man takes off with helium balloons - watch the video!

The animation “UP - Altas Aventuras”, 2009, is probably one of the most beautiful stories in this cinematic universe where everything is possible, including lifting a whole house with the help of several balloons. By the way, this is not that impossible: here at Mega Curioso we already talked about the clerk who made a replica of the house of the movie and went flying around.

Disney itself made a real balloon like the one in the movie - if you haven't seen it yet, click here and die in love. Another interesting curiosity about the movie is the service that the MOVOTO website did by providing a calculator to find out how many balloons would be needed to make your house fly. The fact is that the story of the movie is so exciting that a lot of people out there are inspired by it.

Perhaps it was also because she loved the excitement that Erik Roner decided to take a chance on in an adventure similar to what the likeable Carl Fredricksen went through on his journey to the home of his dreams.

Armed with several giant balloons filled with helium gas, Roner was able to take off from a garden chair. In all, the boy spent 50 helium tanks to fill the 90 balloons that carried him to the sky.

To return to the ground, he shot some balloons, detached himself and also used a parachute, of course. All the action was recorded in the amazing video you saw above. What's up? What did you think of this adventure? Would you dare to try something like that?
