VAR played in 455 World Cup bids and FIFA says happy with the result

"As the FIFA president says, VAR is not changing football, it is cleaning up football, and that was our goal when we started the VAR project with the International Football Association Board (IFAB), " said Zvonimir Boban, FIFA secretary who was responsible for overseeing the VAR.

By the tone of the FIFA note, we should expect VAR to start appearing in more and more tournaments. Currently, it is also used in the first divisions of Germany and Italy, and has been tested in other countries, such as France and England.
