Those who follow the world of comics know that as much as most characters have not undergone major changes during their history, everyone undergoes adaptations over the decades. Batman, Spiderman, and Superman are examples of figures who, while retaining their essence, once had different uniforms and powers in comics.

With cinema, history is no different: constant technological developments bring about substantial changes in the way a given situation is represented. This justifies a huge wave of remakes, in which old animation techniques are replaced by hyperrealistic computer graphics.
