See amazing photos of clouds that are mistaken for UFOs

Dreamers are said to be people with the head in the clouds. The reason for this relationship between one thing and another is probably that anyone, when gazing at clouds passing through the sky on a beautiful day, finds common shapes in these cotton wads that float above our heads.

From elephants to babies and flowers, every cloud seems to have a double personality, and beyond cloud by definition, it is also anything else you want. Not only are the forms varied, but the use of the word in Leminski's haikai (“white clouds / white clouds”), the music his parents listened to in the 1980s, the Apple icon that saves everything. There is no denying it: clouds are mysterious, interesting and inspiring.

Earth Sky has made a selection of some of the most mind-blowing lenticular cloud images, which are the flatter ones. These clouds form when humid air moves over a mountain or set of mountains. The lens shape occurs when these clouds form a series of standing waves - if the temperature at the top of the wave decreases, the cloud pressure will leave it condensed, flattened.

This phenomenon does not happen so often, and when it does, it does not last long, so you don't see a lenticular cloud very easily. Because they appear very little, flattened and easily disappeared, these clouds are often mistaken for UFOs. Based on the images above, do you also think these clouds look like UFOs?

And if it's hard to understand how these clouds form and how they fade, check out the video below, which shows the formation and onset of a time-lapse lenticular cloud disappearing. Then tell us what you think!
