There is no shortage of LEGO toys that turn into miniatures of several of the characters in the Star Wars series. However, it is undisputed that one of the most beloved figures is the nice little robot R2-D2.

LEGO decided to release a new kit from the famous robot, and the designers responsible for the project took care of the details. They included several features present in the film's R2-D2, such as a retractable third leg that can be triggered at the push of a button.

In addition, the android's head rotates 360 degrees and in the front there are compartments that hold a small saw and a computer connection tool that also serves to open any lock throughout the galaxy! Other noticeable details in the LEGO R2-D2 are two photoreceptors, the holographic transmitter and the little robot charger.

The new kit contains approximately 2, 100 blocks, which means you'll have to spend a little time and patience before you finish assembling the little robot. The model comes with a miniature that you can take anywhere, as the R2-D2, when assembled, is 31 inches tall and 18 inches wide.

This is the seventh replica of the LEGO R2-D2 character, and is due for release in May. The kit will go on sale for $ 250.
