Volkswagen surprises Chinese in warning against SMS at the wheel

Regardless of whether or not you have a driving license on Brazilian streets, you should already know that “mixing” driving with text messaging is not something that usually works. After all, you will take your eyes and your attention off the path that must be followed, giving chances for really serious accidents to happen.

With that in mind, the people of Volkswagen decided to run a campaign in one of the Hong Kong theaters in China - the video showing this operation, which you can see above, was posted last Friday. Arriving at the room where they would watch their movies, people came across the first person footage of someone starting to drive a car.

After a while, a signal emitter simulates sending an SMS to everyone in the theater. As soon as practically all of them get their eyes on their phones, the video car crashes violently, frightening the viewers in the theater - and the scene can be considered relatively strong.

Then a message pops up telling everyone to be careful, as text messaging is the leading cause of fatal traffic accidents - although it's unclear whether these numbers are in the Hong Kong area, the meaning is important, Is not it?
