$ 10 Million Found by American Couple in California

It really seems that that story of burying treasures in certain places to protect them is true. One American couple experienced just that, as when they were walking around the property of their own home they accidentally found a buried object with more than 1400 gold coins in perfect condition, dating from 1847 to 1894. Most striking is that they are worth US $ 10 million - approximately R $ 23 million.

According to David Hall, co-founder of the Professional Coin Grading Service, coins never circulated. Because they are very rare and extremely preserved, some experts say that certain parts can reach an isolated value of $ 1 million. Numismatist Don Kagin, who is representing the couple, said the finding is as if they had found a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Information about the couple themselves was not provided for the sake of preserving the two, it is known that it is a middle-aged man and woman living on the rural property who found the coins. The two said they do not know who could have buried them in the ground, something that probably occurred long before they bought the property. According to the information, the coins will have different destinations: some will be sold on Amazon, some will be kept by the couple as a souvenir and others will be sent to specialized museums.
