15 Must-See Places In Acre

Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to cross Acre and cross the entire state by bus. For me, who live in the southern region, it was an amazing experience! Besides being close to the Amazon rainforest, I have known a place that they insist on saying that it "does not exist". Yes there is! And it's very beautiful!

Unfortunately, I did not get to know the state as thoroughly as I would like. And today, November 17, is the 113th anniversary that Acre is officially part of Brazil. Before that, he belonged to Bolivia, but was colonized mainly by Brazilians. Currently, about 820, 000 people live there - and everyone I met was very hospitable.

So it is worth knowing some Acre sights:

1. Chico Mendes Environmental Park - Rio Branco

2. Maternity Park - Rio Branco

3. Rio Branco Palace - Rio Branco

4. Joaquim Macedo Walkway - Rio Branco

5. Rubber Museum - Rio Branco

6. Serra do Divisor National Park - Cruzeiro do Sul

7. Chico Mendes House Museum - Xapuri

8. Pacific Road and Brazil-Peru Bridge - Assis Brasil

9. Wilson Pinheiro Binational Bridge - Brasiléia

10. Jarinal Spa - Brasiléia
