8 images that were successful on the internet but are fake

Nowadays it is not uncommon to hear someone commenting on certain “news” they read on Facebook or even sharing information without even checking if it is true or not. This lack of concern about what is or is not true turns the internet into a large archive of misinformation and false images.

Factually brought together a series of images that eventually went viral in many parts of the world but were actually edited. Check out some of them below:

1 - The gigantic moon seen in Australia

Although visibly the image above was edited, many people shared it thinking the registration was legitimate. If you are among these people, you know not, this moon composition with starry sky and moving water is unnatural.

2 - Little Owls Ewoks

No, honey, this little owl doesn't exist and you can already put your Star Wars dream aside. Although the image may be misleading, these are stuffed animals made by Russian artist Marina Yamkovskaia - her Instagram has more.

3 - This photo is not from 1955

The image above circled around as a representation of the female body ideal in 1955. It is even said that the image had been published by Time magazine, but ultimately the picture is by adult film actress Aria Giovanni, and the picture was taken in 2004.

4 - The tree and the piano

This one has been famous for a long time. In fact, the tree did not grow amid the abandoned piano, although the composition is interesting. The photo was taken in 2010 and the piano was positioned in place especially for the click.

5 - Partnership that never happened

The truth is that Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson never posed together, characterized as the Joker.

6 - Martin Luther King Jr. wasn't showing the middle finger

Maybe you have already shown it, after all who never? But in this photo there was a rogue image editing that always puts it among the most shared in Reddit topics and in posts from Pinterest or Imgur. When you see this image again, remember: it's a fake.

7 - The Paris Hilton T-Shirt

We're all big and we should know that white t-shirts and posters in general are easily editable - and yes, there are people out there wasting time doing that. The photo on the left shows the phrase “stop being poor” - something like “stop being poor” in a free translation. In fact, Paris wore a T-shirt that said "Stop being desperate, " which is something like "stop being desperate."

8 - The Dubai Moon

Another image editing job that has fooled a lot of people on social networks. Comparing the two images makes it easy to see what has changed. As the Factually guys said, this is a typical case of beautiful photos being edited and made into unbelievable photos.
