Smaug's appearance in the trailer for the second movie 'The Hobbit' causes a stir

After the release of the poster and trailer for the long-awaited second part of the “The Hobbit” trilogy, one of Peter Jackson's - and JRR Tolkien's most talked about - fan appearances was that of the dragon Smaug, right at the very end of the video. The feature, scheduled for release this December, is already titled in Portuguese: “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug”.

In fact, the surprise is that the character who names the second film was already revealed in the first official trailer. Well, at least his big boss! And in addition to showing Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf, and the cute dwarves, Warner-released material also brings new - and old! - characters such as the warrior elf Tauriel and Legolas, who finally returns to the scene.

From the trailer, the impression is that the second movie will probably be much darker than the first, matching the tone conveyed by the image of the poster unveiled a few days ago, which brings Bilbo alone before the ruined doors that enter the Kingdom. of Erebor of the Dwarves.
