Brilliant: Indian boy supposedly lights lamps with skin

Abu Thahir, just 9 years old, has caught the eye of social media in India after revealing an unusual power: he swears he can turn on LED bulbs just by touching his skin!

Thahir lives in the southern village of Muhamma and would have discovered his gift a short time ago. His father says they were both returning from the market one day after buying a light bulb when the boy took the object with his hands and instantly lit it. Nizar the father thought it was some kind of prank until he saw that it was really happening.

To light the lamps, just touch the electrical part on any piece of skin of the boy. The boy's aunt filmed the weirdness and published it on the internet. Soon the scenes went around India and turned the boy into a webcelebrity. Watch the video:

Is it true?

Just as many thought that Abu Thahir was a candidate for X-men and a student of Professor Xavier, others believe it is just manipulation to get attention. Although Thahir seems shy and embarrassed by the exhibition, there are people who are providing inventive (and plausible) solutions to the phenomenon.

One of the reasons is that some low voltage wire would be hidden and leaning against Thahir, which in the background would only serve as a conductor of electricity. Since the videos that show its power do not reveal the whole scene, that is, do not frame it whole body, it is possible that this really happens.

Scientist Joshy Kuriakose, on the other hand, believes Thahir actually lights the bulb with his skin. This would be a result of too much salt in your body, which generates excess sweat and conductivity on the skin. Since the only lamps the boy can light up are LED lamps, this explanation may be correct. It will be? Are you skeptical or gullible in this story?
