Insane Cake Boss: See Amazing Indonesian Made Wedding Cakes

Cake Boss is the name of the ingenious pastry maker in the United States, but he has a rival in Indonesia: the people at LeNovelle Cake

The family business started in 1993 as a bakery to produce birthday cupcakes for friends and relatives, evolving into wedding cakes in 2004.

The design of the cakes has been improved every year and today edible works of art up to 7 meters high are already produced.

Tiffany Riyadi, one of the partners, explains that each monumental sculpture can take up to 4 weeks to complete.

Some cakes are so huge that it is necessary to deliver them with trucks, as cars or minivans cannot support their weight.

Every cake needs to be delivered with a support team if last minute touch ups are required after the shipping process - some deliveries take up to 8 hours and require almost the entire team.

Some creations even have internal light in gigantic rooms, with power supplied by the mains supply or a hidden battery

However, not all parts are edible: balconies and towers have precast structures, and only their exterior can be devoured.

Tiffany guarantees that she could even make 100% edible gigantic cakes, but it would take sooo much dough and “no one wants” that much cake

These more structured cakes can cost anywhere from $ 15, 000 to $ 1.5 million, depending on the customer's pocket - the most expensive ones are adorned with diamonds, of course.

LeNovelle Cake currently has stores in Bali and Jakarta, both in Indonesia.
