When you decide to go on a trip, whether on vacation or for business, the hotel you stay in, no matter how important, is usually not the priority in choosing your destination. However, in some cases, such as the following, this situation may be different.

But perhaps none of these cases arouse as much public interest as the 10 pop-culture-themed hotel rooms on this list.

If you are a fan of Agent 007, Batman, Star Trek, Hobbit or many other topics, you are sure to want to stay or know at least these places. The following is a list based on a Mental Floss publication.

1. Star Trek Room, Sao Paulo, Brazil

The first item on our list was in Brazil, but unfortunately it doesn't exist anymore. The Star Trek room was a promotional action promoting the movie "Star Trek Into Darkness", which took place at the Sheraton Hotel in Sao Paulo for a month. One of the suites has been transformed into a themed environment and has been decorated with LED light effects, theme bedding and cosmos imagery.

2. The Sorcerer's Chambers, London, England

Fans of Harry Potter, confess: you'd like to spend a few days at Hogwarts, exploring everything and spending nights in the dorm rooms. If visiting the wizarding school pictured in the works and movies is not possible, at least the feeling of sleeping in one of those rooms you may have. This is the goal of the Georgian House hotel by offering a different experience, in which guests can get in touch with the scenery that seems straight out of JK Rowling's books. Decor features potion bottles, cauldrons and four-poster beds in the best Hogwarts style.

3. Suite 007, Paris, France

The Seven Hotel has a themed suite named after the most famous theatrical agent. The suites offered give everyone the experience of living like James Bond, featuring retro murals and futuristic design that put them in a real movie series. A special feature of the property is the ability to watch all 007 volumes on the flat-screen TV available in the room.

4. Batman's Room, Taiwan

“Holy lodging, Batman! The batman owns a sensational bat-bat hotel room! ” The phrase could come from Robin entering this room at the Eden motel in Taiwan. With a full decoration, the bat, traditional symbol of the DC hero, is present in everything: on the headboard, on the TV and even in the mirror. In addition, there is a whole bat-cave ambience. Ah! And what you see on the ceiling, above the bed, is the famous 'sign-bat'.

5. Guest House, Trout Creek, USA

In the state of Montana, in the United States, there is a "County" replica in which Hobbit fans will find a true paradise. The place is all themed, and it feels like really being spending a few days in Tolkien's famous character village. The guest house (photo) is the place that houses the guests and also has thematic decoration, including a part built below ground level. 6. Despicable Me Suite, Orlando, USA

The Despicable Me Suite is at Universal's Resort in Orlando, Florida. In the home of the big parks and theme hotels, the minions' room draws attention, as the decoration promises to make the children, fans of the little yellow beings, happy. From the entrance decorated like Gru's heavy lab door, the beds, panels and stickers on the walls and even the curtain are in the fun and "yellow" mood of the characters in the movie. 7. Fairytale Suite, Anaheim, USA

Girls who would like to spend a few "happily ever after" days have an ideal place for that. The Fairy Tale Suite, located at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California, features a luxurious four-poster bed, a mosaic of Sleeping Beauty Castle and an all-marble hall. In addition, there is a bathtub that leaves guests feeling like true princesses.

8. Twilight Rooms, Forks, USA

The Twilight-themed rooms were the Pacific Inn's way of exploring the tourist potential that Forks, Washington, has gained from the books and movies in the series. Many fans decide to visit the city of Edward and Bella, so the hotel can make the trip even more attractive. Rooms are all painted in the colors of book covers and feature character posters, as well as decorated towels and pillows. Ah! And to keep the sunlight from causing that glow on the skin of any vampire guests, the curtains are very dark.

9. LEGO Pirate Rooms, Carlsbad, USA

The LEGO resort hotel in Carlsbad, Calif., Has rooms with different themed decorations, but certainly the Pirates is the most flashy. They are designed with the idea that guests feel as if they are inside a ship, with objects all aligned in the same direction. 10. The fourth of the movie "Tron: The Legacy", Jukkasjärvi, Sweden

This room was a tribute that two fans decided to produce for the arrival of the movie "Tron: The Legacy" in 2010. It was located in Sweden, in the ice hotel known to be built and to remain active only a few months a year.
