Learn about the artistic technique that removes ink from canvas to create images

If you produce or are interested in art, you may have heard of scratchboard, right? But if this is just a strange word to you, be aware that this is a very thorough artistic technique.

The young Cristina Penescu, just 25 years old, is already getting recognition thanks to this technique, which consists in the production of drawings through the scraping of material, causing a certain image to be recorded directly on the screen.

The technique is to make a uniform painting on the base that will be engraved, so that after the scraping removes the paint from the top and gives way to the stylus strokes made by the artist, as you can see in the following video.
