Meet the 10 Happiest Cities in the World

Those who can no longer stand the city in which they live can plan and perhaps move to a nicer place in the future. To make the search easier, there's nothing like taking a look at the list of happiest cities in the world, created through a 2009 survey by GfK Custom Research.

At the time, about 10, 000 people from 29 different countries were consulted and, for some, the result may be considered somewhat unexpected. It is worth noting, for example, that the United States, famous for its entertainment industry, occupies only one position on the list. Meanwhile, Brazilians will have a surprise with the city that leads the list.

San Francisco, which ranks seventh because of its numerous shopping malls, ranks above historical and traditional places such as Rome in eighth place and Paris in ninth.

The main attraction is obviously Carnival, but the city is also remembered for its diverse cultural activities.

And then? Do you agree with the list? After carefully reviewing it, be sure to tell in the comments which cities would be the happiest for you.
