1 - Pig Food

In 2002, Robert Pickton was a millionaire pig farmer in British Columbia, Canada, and his crime story has a lot to do with his professional activity. Despite being very rich, he was not very interested in spending money on pig feed and had a more macabre way of getting food for them.

He murdered dozens of prostitutes from the Vancouver area. To "hunt" his victims, Pickton roamed the outskirts of Vancouver, luring prostitutes to his farm with the promise of money and drugs. There he brutally murdered the girls and dismembered the bodies that would serve as a feast for his innocent pigs. But that was not the worst part ...

Pickton kept the heads, hands, and feet of some of his victims packaged in refrigerators around the farm and shredded some into a wood chipper.

In addition, the researchers concluded that he combined human remains with unusable pieces of pork (such as intestines, blood and bones) and took them to a processing plant in Vancouver to turn into products like lipstick, shampoo and soap, revealing yet another Horrifying truth about the cosmetics industry.

Pickton was convicted of the deaths of six women and charged with the murder of 20 more prostitutes. Police say the casualties may be even higher, as some of the people had no family and their disappearances may have gone unnoticed.

The killer was discovered because one of the victims managed to escape from the stab wound pig farm. Police at first did not believe her, but a testimony from a farm official led to an investigation that concluded the atrocities of Pickton, who is sentenced to life in prison.

2 - Gods and demons

In 1962, the Hernandez brothers appeared in the Mexican village of Yerba Buena and claimed that they were Inca priests. They said they had a wealth of gold that the Incan gods would like to share with the village, but the only way to do this was by bringing them regular money offerings and "cleaning up their demon bodies."

And what should this supposed “cleanup” look like? The brothers said that for this people had to have sex with them.

Some villagers were not entirely convinced (since the Incas lived in Peru, not Mexico), but decided to take a chance. After all, a lot of gold was at stake. But after a while, people grew tired of giving in to the Hernandez brothers' sexual orders, for there was no sign that the wealth promised by the gods would arrive.

Then the brothers recruited a prostitute named Magdalena to impersonate an Inca goddess and further fool the poor villagers. They revealed Magdalena in a cloud of smoke during one of their cave rituals. She demanded that everyone participate in an orgy and drink chicken blood in bowls decorated with cannabis leaves.

However, some villagers were already resurfaced and wondered where the promised gold was. The woman responded with an order to those who believed her to stone two people who were doubting her story to death.

The blood of the stoned victims was collected in bowls and consumed. And so Solis and the Hernandez brothers had found a way to perpetuate their farce, killing a villager or two from time to time as a sacrifice, while the others would be very afraid to express any doubts. The situation was getting worse and worse with hints of black magic and cruelty, hearts being removed and bodies being cut off.

Everything could have gone on like this had it not been for a curious teenager standing near the cave where the sacrifices took place and witnessing some macabre and bloody scenes of the place. Unseen, he rushed to the nearest police department and reported the situation. The Hernandez brothers were killed in a shootout after police surrounded the area, and Solis and his followers stayed in state prison for about 30 years.
