According to an article published by ABC News, a new product launched by the Belgian company beneo promises to transform the body's natural aroma into the smell of roses. Called Deo Perfume Candy, the new edible deodorant comes in the form of candy, which when digested changes the chemical composition of the "fragrance" exhaled by the skin.

According to the publication, deodorant works from the inside out, and product development is based on the idea that constant consumption of certain foods and spices - such as curry and garlic, for example - can alter the body's natural odor. . As stated by the manufacturer, a single bullet would be able to leave a 63-pound adult smelling for six hours!

The scented candies contain geraniol, a substance present in rose oil that, according to the manufacturer, is now exhaled by the body aromatizing the skin. Some experts are not very convinced that the edible deodorant actually works, although the product is already sold out on the Amazon website, where it sells for about $ 10.
