What if the characters in classic paintings lived today?

In the song “Old Colorful Clothes”, Elis Regina sang: “And the past is a garment that no longer serves us”. This excerpt of the song composed by singer Belchior makes clear something that we live daily, even without realizing it: time goes by and, with it, a series of changes, both individually and collectively, can hardly be interrupted.

To demonstrate that life, over time, is a constant and unstoppable process of change, designer Alexey Kondakov decided to portray in montages what they would be like in classic paintings living today. With great creativity, he imagined beings with angelic features having to face the rush hour of public transport or sunbathing on the beach, for example.
