Writer causes anger by killing rabbit that ate her plants

Have you heard of Jeanette Winterson? She is a well-known British writer worldwide and is responsible for the work “Oranges are not the Only Fruit”. But this week she was not in evidence because of a book or anything, but because of the attitude she took toward a rabbit who came to her house.

On Twitter, she posted a photograph of a dead rabbit - you can see the image through this link, but we don't recommend it - and the following text: “The rabbit ate my parsley! I'm eating the rabbit! ” She even sent pictures of the grooming and the little cat she has feeding on the meat. You can imagine she didn't receive very positive reviews from those who followed her.

Several followers have condemned the attitude of the writer, who defended herself saying that rabbits are spreading like plagues in England and need to be hunted. She was also categorical in saying that people buy rabbit meat at the market, so it's okay to kill the animal herself. Even so, the criticism continued, mainly because of the strong images posted.
