This $ 15 million mansion has a Star Wars themed (ugly) room

Not even George Lucas would approve of this room in a $ 15 million mansion. This is the value of a house in California, USA, and there is a special decoration in it: a room completely themed with Star Wars. Bed, mattresses, painted cabinets and even an R2-D2 are there - but the taste, well, is dubious.

The bed is shaped like a T-47 spacecraft, used in films to load industrial products before being equipped with two laser guns by the Rebel Alliance. The furniture comes in an enameled silver tone and even has the cannons in its replica.

The attempt to reproduce the ship's distinctive look is valid, but the front curves and “plastic” countenance give the impression of secondhand material. Would anyone be able to imagine Luke Skywalker or Han Solo with their respective in such a bed? Neca

In addition, the scratched and worn material is part of the ship's characterization, which is never "shining" like this. The mattress also does not help and exaggerates the metallic tone.

That R2-D2 over there in the corner is perhaps the most remarkable and reasonably good element of this exotic room. Would George Lucas, the franchise owner, approve?

And would you approve? For 15 million dollars? Check out the other rooms in the house, which is for sale at Sotheby's. Click here to be redirected.
