This is the ideal video for you to know what a Aurora Borealis is

We at Mega Curious really enjoy nature phenomena, especially when it comes to Aurora Borealis. The truth is that not everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the lights caused by this type of event, after all this requires that solar storms reach the magnetic field of our planet.

These storms are most common in March, April, September, and October. The most favorable places to view the phenomenon are Norway, Sweden, Finland, Alaska, Canada, Scotland and Russia.

The "problem" is that most videos that record the phenomenon are made in time lapse, which is the technique used to make time seem faster than normal. The video you will see now has this differential: no time-lapse!

The absence of this feature is good because it gives us an insight into the speed with which the green lights cover the sky - it's very, very fast! Also, it is possible to get a sense of size as there are some people and huts that appear in the shoot. The record was made by the Korean Kwon Chul in Yellowknife, Canada. So, what did you think of the result?
