This African dictator is supposed to devour the body of his enemies.

Have you heard about Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo? We at Mega Curioso have already talked briefly about him here and basically he is the current president of Equatorial Guinea. In fact, this guy became dictator of the small African country after overthrowing his own uncle, Francisco Macías Nguema, in 1979.

Could Mbasogo have anything to do with the disappearance of Lula's little finger?

Theodore was behind the bloody coup that resulted in the deposition, trial, and sentencing of Francis to death by shooting. But the new dictator was not content to just overthrow his uncle! Since taking control of Equatorial Guinea, he has been accused of fraud, misappropriation of public money (Mbasogo is among the richest heads of state in the world), of torturing and killing opponents - and of allegedly having a sinister habit.

Cannibalism

According to reports, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo would be cannibal and devour the body of his opponents in order to increase his sexual strength and vigor. According to Adam Withnall of the Independent portal in 2004, one of the dictator's political enemies, a man named Severo Moto, reportedly told an interview with Spanish radio that Mbasogo had ingested certain parts of the body of a police commissioner.

As it turned out, the poor cop was not buried until the dictator consumed his brain and testicles. At the time, Severus even admitted that he feared returning to Equatorial Guinea - since he believed Mbasogo intended to devour his testicles as well. In addition to practicing cannibalism, the head of state would have a habit of ordering his enemies to be skinned alive.

As if it were too little, according to John Shammas of the Mirror portal, one of his former advisers would have said that Mbasogo has the power to decide the life and death of any citizen of the small African nation. In fact, not even those in exile are completely safe, as in 2010 the dictator ordered four Guineans living in Benin to be captured and tortured.

Direct contact with God - or the Devil?

According to his opponents, having been in control of the country for so long, Mbasogo would have believed to have divine powers - transferred to him directly by none other than God. In fact, because of his “proximity” to the Almighty, the dictator would be convinced that he can kill anyone he likes without risking burning in hell. Human rights experts have named Mbasogo the world's cruelest president.
