Everyone knows the traditional flavors of ice cream such as chocolate, cream, strawberry and flakes. We also know some ice cream shops and manufacturers that turn some of our favorite sweets and fruits into cold delights.

However, there are many unusual flavors out there, and we made a collection of some of the most curious.

Foie Gras and Caviar

Phillippe Faur, a French master specializing in ice cream and desserts, has developed these two flavors - duck liver pate and caviar - to be tasted as starters, to accompany other appetizers or to be enjoyed alone. But prepare the pocket! According to the Luxury Insider website, the 100 ml pot of caviar ice cream can cost 118 €.

Bacon

David Lebovitz - American chef and author of several cookbooks - is the creator of this unusual flavor. He even teaches on his website how to prepare the delicacy, with a step by step in English.

Sesame Seed

From Japan, this ice cream is made with roasted sesame seeds and, according to Woman's Day, make no mistake about the black color of the dessert. They claim that the consistency is creamy and the mixture of sweet flavors is quite pleasant.

Goat Cheese with Caramelized Onion

This flavor, created by the Irish ice cream shop Murphy's Ice Cream, is on his list of experimental flavors - which should come as no surprise - among others, such as smoked salmon, mint pea and licorice.

Buttered Popcorn

You always wonder if you should have an ice cream or have a bag of buttered popcorn? Maggie Moo's Ice Cream and Treatery, an American ice cream shop, decided to solve this problem by creating a flavor that combines both ingredients.

For those who like strong spices - or are thinking of keeping vampires away - this flavor is ideal. According to the recipe, published by The Gilded Fork folks, it is enough to mix garlic with honey, milk and cream to prepare this delicacy, ideal to accompany purees and grilled meat. It will be?
