Research by Verbling, a language learning platform, with Spanish teachers showed that the miniseries are also suitable for practicing the language. According to Verbling teacher María Mercedes, the wide range of Spanish accents present in the series is one of her highlights: “This series has different Spanish accents, which helps the student to train the language.”

Moreover, what catches the eye in the series is undoubtedly its charismatic characters, such as Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó), Nairobi (Alba Flores), Rio (Miguel Herrán), Moscow (Paco Tous) and Denver (Jaime Lorente). The show also features more controversial types like Berlin (Pedro Alonso) and Professor (Álvaro Morte) - the latter, in turn, was pointed out by most of the teachers interviewed as the character who uses the most correct Spanish and, because of that, facilitates students' understanding of this language.

“Speaking more slowly and without using a lot of local slang, his way of speaking is easier to understand, ” says Spanish teacher Claudia Troncoso. In addition to nominating the series to train Spanish, Verbling has nominated the best films for the same purpose.
