Astronaut training game can yield a space trip

A Finnish company has decided to offer a somewhat unusual prize for those who master their mobile experience: a trip to space. Coming out next week, Cohu Experience's new app adopts freemium mechanics to let you feel what a real astronaut's training is like.

Named as the "Space Nation Astronaut Training Program" (SNAP), the software will require you to follow the training routine of a real astronaut. In addition to participating in physical training, the user interested in winning the award will have to prove their technical knowledge and social skills in a wide variety of tests.

only the big winner will be able to travel free to space

The top 100 players will be awarded a trip that guarantees a training period with NASA, a stage that should be held in early 2018. This phase will select 12 people who will be able to participate in a series of interactive films that will be included in the mobile app, and only the big winner will be able to travel to space for free.

The project still depends on the end of its crowdfunding campaign to come true, but there are no concerns about it. With a few days to go until the end of the donation phase, those responsible for the initiative have already managed to acquire 191% of the amount initially required.
