Spider-Man's Game With Royal Marriage Arrives After Dating End

In addition to bringing several Easter eggs from Marvel's universe and Spider-Man's past adventures, Marvel's Spider-Man also features some real-world-inspired secrets - some of them included with fan requests. Unfortunately, one of the surprises included by Imsomniac didn't go so well that the studio suggested changing it in a future update to the adventure.

Marvel's Spider-Man

In May this year, Tyler Schultz asked the developer to include a marriage proposal for her then girlfriend within the game. The request was granted, and in a Marvel's Spider-Man movie theater you can see a sign that says "Maddie, will you marry me?" - a beautiful secret, were it not for the fact that the relationship ended before the release of game.

Imsomniac proposes changes

According to Schultz explained in a (already deleted) video, Maddie left him to start dating her brother - something the girl disputes. According to a message sent to Kotaku, the new relationship would only have started after the relationship ended and would not have been the main reason for it to happen.

Nahhhh it's good !! It's the saddest Easter egg! I mean ... Do you have to change it?

Given the situation, Jacinda Chew, Art Director of Insomniac set out to modify the sign in an update to the somewhat unusual situation. She suggested changing the name of Maddie to Schultz's grandmother, who died of cancer and was responsible for starting the boy's passion for Spider-Man.
