Tallest man in the world meets the smallest woman on the planet

Sultan Kosen and Jyoti Amge are people who stand out among each other quickly. While Kosen, a 35-year-old Turk, is astonishing 2.47m tall; Amge Indian is no more than 60 cm tall. On the one hand, the tallest man on the planet; on the other, the smallest woman in the world.

Knowing their lives and seeing pictures of these two is a curiosity in itself, but now we can see how they look when they are next to each other. Yes: this meeting of opposites really happened.

As a campaign by the Egyptian government to promote tourism in the country, the two met for a photo shoot in Cairo. Record-keeping owners of the Guinness Book, Kosen and Amge apparently became good friends.

The height of Kosen, who is the only man on the planet who has been over four feet, has to do with a condition called gigantism, which causes his brain to produce high amounts of growth hormone.

On the other hand, actress Amge, born in 1993, has a genetic condition known as achondroplasia, which prevents the regular growth of her bones and limbs.
