Last Sunday (15), the series "The Simpsons" promoted an unprecedented interaction in the cartoons: Homer chatted live with viewers through a motion capture feature of his interpreter, Dan Castellaneta. In the United States, the idea worked well, but a transmission failure left the program muted in Latin America.

Initially scheduled to air here in Brazil at 9 pm, the program was postponed until 10 pm and yet it started half an hour late. But in the crucial part, when Homer came live at the end of the episode, the broadcast's audio was cut off. So the character apologized in a video released by Fox.

“If at some point we make fun of your country, I'm so double. If it's Brazil, I'm really, really sorry, but not enough to learn Portuguese. But Brazil, my love, I really regret that this happened, as if you no longer had enough problems, ”said the character, in a clear reference to the political crisis we have been through. Check out:
