Bride gives up the wedding and makes the joy of 200 needy people

Why can't the sadness of some become the joy of many others? According to a report published by the Daily Mail, a family from Atlanta, USA, invited more than 200 homeless people to enjoy the dinner that would be offered during a daughter's wedding party. According to the publication, all expenses had already been paid, but the wedding was eventually canceled 40 days before the event.

The party was organized by Elizabeth Omilami, who runs an NGO dedicated to feeding needy people, and the more than 200 guests - homeless and their families - were able to enjoy an expensive dinner served in a luxurious restaurant. The reason why the wedding was canceled was not disclosed, but the bride made sure to be present during the banquet.

Many of the guests were surprised by the crystal glasses and the careful presentation of the dishes, and although not used to such luxury, they thanked the family for their generosity. The event has been dubbed " The First Annual Fowler Family Celebration of Love " - and the Fowlers hope to repeat the party next year with the support of sponsors.
