American performs shows playing guitar with toes [video]

Overcoming stories abound, and Mark Goffeney's is one of them. Born without his arms in San Diego, United States, the musician developed his own method for playing the guitar using his toes.

Also known by the nickname Big Toe, Goffeney learned to play the guitar as a child. It was with the help of a friend that he created the method he uses to this day, in which he leaves the instrument on the floor and with his arm resting on some objects, such as books.

In addition to performing at venues such as the one below, the musician recorded a 2000 CD titled Big Toe. The album was produced by Steve Dudas, who has worked with Aerosmith and Ozzy Osbourne.
