The Power of Makeup: 9 Amazing Transformations

Along with the heavy criticism on fashion magazines and catwalks, a move in favor of women's "natural beauty" has been taking on weight: people who are against the standard used in the mainstream media, women without imperfections. However, this also affected those who appreciate and advocate the use of makeup. Especially in the case of bloggers who, because they work daily with the theme, are often called futile and propagating the image of an unreal woman.

To show that everyone can have the right to be vain, without the need for judgment, Dutch makeup artist and blogger Nikkie has produced a video in which she only makes makeup on half her face. The goal was to show that women feel good with both makeup and “face wash”. Or, as beauty guru Stephanie Lange put it, "Makeup is not a mask under which insecure people hide. Makeup gives you the power to control your own image."

Several women are participating in the “The Power of Make Up” campaign. In action, they post photos with half their faces clean and the other half made up.
