Where Does The Simpson Family From The Simpsons Drawing Live? In Springfield, that many know. But did you know that in all - yes, all - the 50 states of the United States there is a city called “Springfield”? For this reason, no one in the world is absolutely sure where the yellow characters come from.

Recently, Matt Groening, the creator of the series, said in an interview that the choice of name came from a town near his home in the state of Oregon. But that doesn't mean The Simpsons is Oregon's Springfield. And to keep the fans from thinking about it, in the episode aired last Sunday (in the US) there was an almost bombastic revelation.

Beware, the next paragraph contains a spoiler.

At the beginning of the episode, when Bart appears writing his punishment on the school blackboard, you can read the following sentence: " The True Location of Springfield is any state but yours ." Or, in English: "Springfield's true location is any state but yours." Warning: If you want to know what is written in the blank portions of the sentences above, select the text with the mouse cursor.
