To Showcase David Bowie Wins Incredible Honors in NY

One of the biggest names in rock history, Briton David Bowie died in January 2016, but his legacy and relevance to music remain alive in the memory of a legion of fans. Proof of this is a tribute that the performer of epic songs - such as "Rebel Rebel" and "Heroes" - received on the New York subway.

The initiative, aimed at promoting an exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum featuring the singer's items, filled subway stations with Bowie photos, artwork created by his fans, and even a map showing his favorite Big Apple places. Other parts of the city have also received honors and, as you see below, is one more creative than the other:

1. This is the view passengers get when they enter Broadway-Laffayette Station in New York.
