Little birds sing and play guitar at art exhibition in Canada

About 70 mandarin birds, also called mandarin diamonds, have a different musical performance: they play guitars at an exhibition at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in Canada.

The huge aviary was designed by French plastic artist and musician Céleste Boursier-Mougenot. In addition to the birds, he placed 10 Gibson Les Paul guitars and four Gibson Thunderbird basses so that the melody could be composed and improvised at all times.

As mandarins circle the scene, different sounds of instruments emerge from the birds' own singing. It is a different spectacle that should attract both art lovers and ornithologists. This is not the first time, however, that the show has been made in the world: since 1999, she has visited places like New York, Paris, Milan and Brisbane.

That is, if you live or are passing through Canada, you already know where to stop, don't you? The exhibition will be at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Montreal until March 27, 2016! In the meantime, check out an appetizer of what happened in Salem, USA last year:
