Plants Grow Better and Healthier When They Listen to Black Sabbath

That music has an effect on us humans, no doubt. The Curious Mega has published many articles about music in our lives, either through its influence during physical activity or the irritability that a melody that sticks in our head causes us.

But did you know that noise interference can influence plants? That's what British gardening expert Chris Beardshaw discussed on his BBC radio show. At the request of some listeners, Beardshaw experimented with some of his plants. He put them in different environments with different songs.

According to the expert, the best type of music for his seedling is rock, especially Black Sabbath, which Beardshaw says makes plants flourish better and more resilient, though they have not grown so much.

Classical music also helped flourish, but not as successfully as Ozzy's band. The bad news, however, was for British musician Cliff Richard: all the little plants subject to his songs died. So, have your little plants heard Black Sabbath today?
