Doves released by Pope are attacked by raven and seagull in Vatican

Last Sunday, the 26th, Pope Francis performed the Angelus prayer with the participation of thousands of faithful in St. Peter's Square in the Vatican. The pope took the opportunity to call for peace and conciliation in Ukraine, where a series of protests have been taking place and some protesters have died after clashes with police.

To represent peace, the two children accompanying the Pope released doves from the window of the Apostolic Palace. Under the watchful eyes of the audience, however, a seagull and a crow attacked both animals as they flew out the window.

One dove lost some feathers while getting rid of the seagull and the other was repeatedly pecked by the crow. No one can tell what would have happened to the animals after the incident. The news agencies that were covering the site recorded all that happened. Check out:
