1 - Lopes Mendes

The beautiful beach above is located in Ilha Grande, here in Brazil - more precisely, in Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro. The amazing thing about Lopes Mendes beach is that, to get there, you have to travel to Angra, take a ferry, a boat and then take a short trail. But once in the place, just enjoy a nature almost untouched by man.

2 - Trunk Bay

Located in the US Virgin Islands National Park - Trunk Bay is one of the most photographed beaches in the Caribbean Sea and was donated by US philanthropist and investor Laurance S. Rockefeller 50 years ago.

3 - Barnes Bay

The sands of Barnes Bay in Anguilla - which is part of British Caribbean territory - are said to be free of pebbles and shells and look like talcum powder.

4 - Temae and Teavora

Situated on the island of Moorea in French Polynesia, the beaches of Temae and Teavora are famous for offering different characteristics to tourists. The former is very popular with surfers, although it is also safe for swimming, while the latter is protected by coral, making it an ideal place for snorkeling.

5 - Horseshoe Bay

The name of the beautiful beach above, in Bermuda, can be translated as “Horseshoe Bay”, and the almost secret corner that appears in the photograph is called Port Royal Cove.

6 - Yapak

Yapak Beach is on the Philippine island of Boracay, which has already become one of the most popular summer vacation destinations in the world. However, unlike other popular beaches such as White Beach - or White Beach - Cagban or Tambisaan, Yapak's is much quieter and has a much more relaxed atmosphere.

7 - Honopu

Also known as “Cathedral Beach”, Honopu, located on Kauai, Hawaii, is not very easily accessible. For starters, you can only approach it by boat and then swim until you reach the sand - but from the look it is worth the effort.

8 - Playa Ancón

Located in Cuba, Playa Ancón is close to the picturesque and lazy little town of Trinidad, which is situated in the south-central part of the island, about 500 kilometers from Havana.

9 - Anse Source d'Argent

The stunning beach in the image above, Anse Source d'Argent, is among the most photographed landscapes in the world and is on La Digue, one of the islands that form the Republic of Seychelles in the Indian Ocean.

As you know, Praia Mole is here in our little land, in Florianópolis and, besides taking the breath of Brazilians with its beauty, impresses many foreigners who go to the south of the country to contemplate the Brazilian exuberance.

Located in Bora Bora, located in Tahiti, French Polynesia, Matira is one of the smallest beaches on the island - just over 29 kilometers long and protected by a natural lagoon.

12 - Bells Beach

Bells Beach, 100 kilometers from Melbourne, Australia, serves as the venue for one of the world's most traditional surfing competitions, the Rip Curl Pro, whose first edition took place in 1961.

13 - El Castillo

The name of the beach you just saw in the image above, located on the Mayan Riviera in Mexico, can be translated as “The Castle” and, as you may have guessed, is the beautiful castle that sits on the cliff - and overlooks to the sea - which gives the name to the place.

14 - Sancho Bay

Another Brazilian "little beach" in our list! Sancho Bay is in Fernando de Noronha and is considered by many to be the best beach in the world.

15 - Ha Long Bay

To finish off the selection of amazing beaches we have put together for you, we chose Vietnam's Ha Long Bay, which is made up of some 3, 000 islets - most of them uninhabited and largely untouched by human action.
