Lightning strikes the sky during July 4th fireworks display [video]

Unlike Brazil, where Independence Day is a more military holiday, with members of the Armed Forces marching through city streets in the United States, this date is a true day of celebration.

Proof of this are the public events they hold there, including music shows, festivals where people eat, drink and participate in scavenger hunts, and especially in the traditional fireworks that takes place every July 4th. However, it is not always that the pyrotechnic spectacle in the sky gets a boost from mother nature.

In the city of Brandon, Florida, a major storm was brewing during the burning. One viewer filmed with his cell phone - which was unfortunately being used vertically - the very moment a beautiful lightning bolt complemented the effect of gunpowder blasting into the air in great flashes.

The video you see above from Matthew Pennington has slowed down so that we can take a close look at all the details of the show from the lightning strikes that were happening between the clouds.
