Do you know the founder of MySpace? Check out what he is doing now!

Created in 2003, MySpace was one of the first social networks to be internationally successful. The tool allowed uploading photos, music and videos, feeding a blog and adding people as friends, as well as offering forums and discussion groups. Its success declined considerably after the arrival of competitors such as Orkut and Facebook, and MySpace sold for $ 580 million in 2005.

But where is Tom Anderson, creator of MySpace? What would “MySpace Tom” be doing for the last 12 years after snapping up that jackpot with the sale of its social network? Who answered that he would be enjoying life around the world got it right! Tom has been traveling a lot and recording his adventures in beautiful photographs.

Everything indicates that his passion for photography began in 2011 and since then Tom has traveled the four corners of the world in search of perfect photography. Some of them we could check on their website called “Stop Working, Start Playing” (something like “stop working and start playing”):

How about this beautiful image of Guilin in China?

Or even this cave in Malaysia?

And what do you think about the interior of the Lan Club, a mixed restaurant with lounge and nightclub in Beijing?

Still in the Hawaiian archipelago, Tom dived and photographed sea animals such as this turtle:

One of my Hawaiian besties told me that seeing a "Honu" or Turtles is good luck and brings long life! True? I captured this with my underwater housing on the first try! I'd call that good luck for sure !! Working on the long life!

This picture here was worthy of a magazine cover, don't you think?

One of those "I can't believe how cool this is" moments from Guilin, China. A moody evening in a stunningly romantic part of the Middle Kingdom!

Tom has also been here in Brazil. In February 2017, he went to Rio de Janeiro for an Iron Maiden concert, where he made this beautiful Ipanema record:

Visited Brazil for the first time last year. Highlights: soccer on the beach, the neighborhood of Ipanema, an Iron Maiden concert with crazy Brazilian fans, and this view :-)

Do you know those Japanese monkeys that live in frozen areas but take advantage of warm water lakes to warm up?

Made some new friends in a Japanese hot spring! These guys come down to the natural hot springs and jump in to warm up. My jacket was too thin, so I'll admit I was cold and jealous the whole time I was observing them (which was hours)! I saw many things in Japan but haven't gotten around to processing / posting. Hopefully I can get back in the groove. Thanks to those who asked why I disappeared ... its nice to be missed!

A combination of multiple photographs taken with long exposure. This is how Tom got this result from a London avenue:

Fun spot in London. Love this city! This is a combination of several long exposures :-)

In China, Tom was able to register Guilin being struck by lightning in a breathtaking photo:

Landed in Guilin, China Last night and went to the top of a Karst rock formation to witness an awesome lightning show - first time I've ever been able to capture lightning with my camera!
