All Disney / Pixar protagonists have the same face; check out

Disney and Pixar films are of incredible quality, but you can see some almost familiar resemblance to the heroines of the latest computer-made films. Especially Rapunzel from “Curly” seems to be Anna and Elsa's cousin of “Frozen Adventure”. However, the similarities do not stop there.

According to Tumblr user EveryFlavoredBean, all the protagonists in Disney / Pixar (or just Disney, as Frozen) CG movies in the last decade have had a round face and a small nose. The biggest variations are due to hair and eye size, quite different from their male partners.

Face of one, muzzle of the other

The image below shows the characters from the Disney / Pixar movie “Fun Mind”. Compare the difference in female and male faces in the movie:

And now, the same image, but with emphasis on the most striking contours of each face

But that can't be the only case, is it? See a comparison of male faces in some of the Disney and Pixar movies over the last decade.

For ease, see the contours of the same characters. You can see a big difference in the shape of the faces and the nose.

To compare, some girls from the same movies

And the outline of the face of each of them. They all have a very round face and small, delicate nose.

But the question of making characters that look related is perhaps a more common feature in computer graphics. 2D animations used to vary a bit more in girl style. “Hercules” Megara and “Lilo & Stitch” Lilo brought more varied traits, for example

And if we get into the villain question of old movies, the differences between them are even more distinct

Will Disney and Pixar change their protagonists again in the upcoming films?
