Video shows plane that can't land because of winds

A video captured the exact moment a plane had to abort its landing in Ireland this month. Strong winds from different directions meant that the plane could not position itself correctly on the runway.

During takeoff and landing, the plane points its nose upwind while the airport runways are aligned towards the prevailing wind. Cross winds, as the name implies, cause counter forces to act at the moment, causing tension and making landing difficult.
