Avengers 2: Early Images and More About Ultron's Origins

The cover of the July 25 issue of Entertainment Weekly brings a big revelation to anyone waiting for news from The Avengers 2: The Age of Ultron . For the first time, we have the image of the big villain that names the movie, a robot played by James Spader ( The Blacklist ) via performance capture technology. The report also reveals a little more about the plot of the new movie, bringing details about the origins of the new villain. Finally, the magazine brings more images of the feature film, the first to be officially revealed to the public.

In the new Avengers movie, the main superheroes, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Hulk, are tired, having saved the world countless times, SHIELD is destroyed and there is no great threat against those who fight. Everyone wants to take a break from this busy life, but that is exactly what will lead them into yet another epic battle.

As such, Tony Stark builds Ultron, a self-conscious, self-taught robot, an artificial intelligence to help them assess threats and direct Stark drones to fight these detected villains. The only problem is that Ultron lacks a sense of humanity, and as a result he soon ends up deciding through his superior cold intellect that the greatest enemy on earth must be eliminated: human beings.

First official footage of the new Scarlet and Murder Witch characters in The Avengers 2. A few months ago, fans have been following their look in behind-the-scenes photos.

"Ultron sees the big picture and thinks, 'OK, we need radical changes, which will be violent and terrifying, to make everything better, '" director Joss Whedon tells the magazine. "He's not the type to say, 'Muahaha, I'll soon dominate everything!' He is on a mission. He wants to save us. ”

And the challenge of fighting Ultron is that it is not just a robot, but a program capable of uploading itself and disappearing into the Data Cloud. In addition, it has the ability to rebuild into an ever stronger and physically fearful shape.

More details about the film should be coming soon at Comic-Con, where Marvel will have its news panel scheduled for July 26th. The Avengers 2 is not officially confirmed at the event, but of course there will be news about this being the studio's biggest release next year - and the cover of Entertainment Weekly's Comic-Con special issue featuring Iron Man Ultron and Captain America more than confirms the film's presence at the convention.
