Viralized: Woman puts on bikini picture and lets off steam after pregnancy

“No, this is not a before and after weight loss picture. But it is a victory story. I write it from my heart. ” This is how Australian Laura started a post on her Facebook page, Mum on the Run, devoted to talking about the pains and delights of motherhood and the life of a modern mother who seeks to break every taboo.

Knowing that most weight-difference photo montages are published when people are able to shed the pounds in question, Laura wanted to do a little bit differently and showed her body what it looked like before and after the gestation of her children.

In the previous photo, Laura says that her flat belly had no stretch marks and localized fat, and at that time she was dieting to maintain her body pattern: “I didn't eat carbohydrates and almost no vegetables. Just meat. But I loved it because I lost weight fast and the more the bones bulged the more I valued myself. I ended up hating meat, and I was always with heartburn, ”she said.

Self image

Despite so much sacrifice, Laura saw herself as a fat person when looking at her own image in the first photo. People nearby said otherwise and praised her for her “good” shape, even asking what kind of exercise she did to keep that body.

“To the right is me now. Stretch marks. A fallen belly button. Rounder, with no protruding bones, but with more dimples that represent cellulite, ”she described, stating that this new photo people don't want to see:“ Suddenly it's not ok anymore. It is no longer pleasing to the eye. It is not a body to be admired. ”

“This body is not a result of just flesh. It is a result of eating of everything. Fruits, vegetables, carbohydrates; noodles, rice, cake, chocolate ... Sometimes 20 chicken nuggets. Fish ... It's not always healthy, but 99% of it is. Nuggets are for when I'm tired ... Sure, ”she continued.

About making humans

In the text, she says the scars, stretch marks and flabby belly are "because I made humans." Despite surrendering to culinary delights that go beyond the purely protein-based diet, Laura says she didn't like her “new” body: “This body didn't deserve sexy lingerie or a new wardrobe. Sometimes I didn't even want to take pregnancy pictures because I was ashamed of how big I looked. ”

Continuing her outburst, Laura explains that she was forced by those close to loving her body during and after pregnancy: “Well, I don't care. I want to be thin. But, [email protected], when I was, I wasn't happy. And I certainly wasn't healthy, ”he concluded.

Regarding her physical form now, Laura says she has had much more achievements with this look than with her healed body from before: “I've been eating more good food. I've been living longer, sharing more, enjoying more. I made life. This body, THIS body should be celebrated and admired. ”

Really should

Next, she says she now understands that she should love and admire herself, that we must celebrate all body types and their stories, stating that all people should be celebrated: “Whatever is reflected in our bodies we we should admire. ”

Laura makes it clear that she still wants to get back into the physical shape she had in the first picture, that she misses that body but wants to achieve it in a healthy way physically and mentally, that she wants to be proud of her body and be at peace with it. and for that, you want to like your physical form as it is now.

"So love your body, because you really, really, really only have one (in this life, at least)." We couldn't agree with her anymore. And you, what do you think?
