Have you heard of the mysterious vortex of the Gulf of Aden?

Here at Mega Curious, we have a fixation on themes involving the supernatural and the paranormal. For example, we already told you that aliens just don't communicate with Earth because of encryption, we show you some frighteningly evil items, and remember five unsolved mysteries.

And it is in this line "File X" that we will address a subject suggested by reader Debora Cristina Romani: the mysterious vortex of the Gulf of Aden! So turn off the lights and come and feel a little fear here with us.

Location

The Gulf of Aden is located between Yemen (in the Middle East) and Somalia and Djibouti (in Africa). It connects the Red Sea to the Indian Ocean, but is controlled by several modern pirates and is very dangerous to ships.

However, we are not here to talk about pirates - though they will still be in history again. We are here to address a worldwide government conspiracy to cover a "road" to other planets. Yes, such a vortex would be the passage of a “wormhole” that would take us somewhere unknown in the universe.

Gulf of Aden is south of the Arabian Peninsula

Gulf of Aden Vortex: A Wormhole?

In Mega Curioso, we already explained how the concept behind the wormholes works. They would basically be ways of traveling in time and space very quickly, being widely used in sci-fi movies. To this day, however, it is only a theory.

At the end of the year 2000, a supposed vortex was seen forming over the Gulf of Aden. The US would have set up a base in Djibouti to analyze the strange phenomenon, which could be spotted from various parts of Europe, notably Norway.

From 2008, this vortex would have increased. It was then that the US government requested the presence of the Navy from several countries in the region. The excuse given was that it was to investigate the Somali pirates that dominate the gulf - look at them again. However, for conspiracy theorists, this maneuver was to investigate the phenomenon that may be the passage to other worlds.

Not Photoshop: Norway's bright sky phenomenon lasted 12 minutes and would have originated in the Gulf of Aden

Military test or supernatural phenomenon?

At the time of the vortex expansion, about 50 earthquakes hit the Gulf of Aden region - something that has not been reported in modern history. These earthquakes occur at a depth of 10 km and have reached up to 5.4 points on the Richter scale.

About the lights in the sky in Europe, it was initially said that they were Russian missile tests, which were soon denied by the Russian government, saying that this was a normal phenomenon. However, a short time later, Russia turned back and confirmed that these were really some experiments. Strange, don't you think?

Check out a video of the vortex seen from Norway:

Stranger still is to know that the sea depths of the Gulf of Aden have a magnetic anomaly: there, the poles are reversed. Something like this has already happened in the Sun, and scientists believe that the Earth's poles are reversing thanks to the collective human consciousness! But huh?

Some theories point out that the magnetic field is behind our thoughts, feelings and consciousness. Thus, the change in earthly magnetism would be the result of the very evolution of human thought.

WikiLeaks comes into play

Did you find little here? The story gets a few more points when WikiLeaks' own ultra-secret information leak is supposed to prove the existence of such a vortex. However, the e-mail that circulated in 2011 and addresses the subject was tampered with by a group that likes an internet fraud.

However, Julian Assange himself, creator of WikiLeaks, has already needed to explain this email and talk about the existence of aliens. The "informant" said that most of the information received by the group is unfounded rumors. Even very few references to paranormal subjects are treated with disdain in emails posted by WikiLeaks.

Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks, said he never received emails with concrete information about aliens.

Gulf of Aden: An Important Sea Route

And why not leave the Gulf of Aden in the hands of pirates? The problem is that it is a sea route widely used by both military and civilians. More than 21, 000 ships cross its waters annually. Would no one, until today, have seen anything more concrete? Would the supposed vortex never have appeared?

Apparently, such definitive proof about extraterrestrial existence should still take a while to appear - if it ever will, is it? However, this kind of subject will always have space here at Mega Curioso. If you have any interesting ideas, do as Deborah and send your suggestion!

And make sure to comment below what you think about this amazing story! Does such a vortex really exist or is it just another invention of those who love a paranormal conspiracy?
