You can charge your phone with fire [video]

The YouTube user known as Gigafide has published a video explaining how it is possible to build a mechanism capable of charging a mobile phone using a flame source.

Basically, the inventor uses the temperature differential component of a USB cooler (similar to the USB Fridge we tested), a lamp and a CPU cooler to put into practice the so-called Peltier Effect - which roughly consists of in transforming the temperature difference into electric current.

Using another gambiarra made from a AA battery charger, the man can transfer the current of approximately 1.5 V to the device. You can find out more details about the project at the Tinkernut website. This technique is not new and you can find other applications of it on the internet.
