Artist creates steampunk works with computer parts
Artist Finnabair, nicknamed Anna Dabrowska, takes literally the idea of creating art with the help of computers. Proof of this are the works with a look that closely resembles that adopted in Steampunk's stories and events, combining many gears, technology and, at the same time, a Victorian aspect. Another reference that seems to emerge from Anna's work is the dark aspect of the universe created by Tim Burton in films such as “Corpse Bride” and “Alice in Wonderland”.
To create, Finnabair uses many pieces taken from computers as well as other objects collected over time, ranging from buttons to dead moths. To get an idea of how detailed Dabrowka's art can be, just look at the images in this article trying to recognize each of her tiny pieces.
According to the artist, "There comes a time when you need to do something, otherwise you can die of creative pain, suffocated by all the things that want to be outsourced, " Finnabair told Tech Graffiti. Check out more images in the gallery below.
