Scary: South Asia could become uninhabitable by the year 2100

Although so many studies and surveys point out that global warming is real - and, according to some experts, potentially irreversible and catastrophic - not everyone is concerned about the consequences of rising temperatures in the world. However, evidence points to the fact that it is happening, and a recent study, conducted by MIT scientists, revealed that South Asia could become uninhabitable by the end of the century.

South asia

According to Chelsea Gohd of Futurism, the survey found that several South Asian regions could become too hot for human occupation by the year 2100. Just to give you a sense of the problem this poses, this region of the world is home to some of the most populous countries in the world, such as India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, and an estimated population of over 1.6 billion people. If the temperatures over there get too high, where will all these people be transferred to?

Spooky

According to Elfatih Eltahir, one of the researchers involved in the study, the consequences of global warming could be very serious in South Asia. According to the projections made by the team, this region of the world will be increasingly hit by hot flashes that will not only affect isolated areas - as it is today - and put the lives of countless people at risk.

Waves will become more frequent and wider

One of the difficulties of the region is that many ( many ) people live in conditions of extreme poverty - and it is precisely these individuals who are most exposed to the danger posed by high temperatures.

And the problem is that the heat will affect everyone! Think with us: Even if ways are found to relocate the inhabitants of South Asia, global warming will not be an isolated event, which means that other parts of the planet will also become dangerously warmer. As such, the whole world will have to deal with the catastrophic effects of rising temperatures - so it is vitally important for everyone to stop the warming.
