Mobile phones serve as flashlight for power-down fighting tournament

If, on the one hand, the screens and flashes of our smartphones have become perfect for getting our nights sleep or disturbing others in the movie theater, there is no denying that they can be very useful in especially dark environments - especially if we combine several of these devices. in one place.

Proof of this came at a Dixie College Greco-Roman wrestling tournament in St. George, Utah. It was then that a power outage left the place in complete darkness, but the public, who did not want to see the end of the competition, simply decided to use their flashlight phones. The idea was approved by the judges, and with that the dispute continued.

The result you can check briefly in the video below, recorded by the network KSL 5:

Competing in the dark? Not a problem when you're surrounded by cell phones. Great video from the 4A Divisional Wrestling tournament at @DixieHighSchool shows how a power outage didn't stop the competition. Maybe this could qualify as a new #Olympic event!

Of course, to many this may seem like a trivial solution. But this is because we talk about today; after all, ten or fifteen years ago solving such a situation would simply not be possible. One more reason we love the fact that we have smartphones.
