Those who are afraid of flying can start to get hopeful. If you rely on a concept developed by ET3, a Florida, US company, you will soon be able to travel the globe with a 2-hour trip. The project consists of a series of vacuum sealed pipes that would connect the continents by the seabed. Inside would run car-like capsules that could comfortably accommodate at least six people.

This would be a cheaper and quieter way to travel, as well as being greener. According to speculation by the creators, this means of transport could bring people from New York to China in just 2 hours, traveling at a speed of 6, 400 km / h. There is also the possibility of passing these pipes over the ground on raised platforms.

The Evacuated Tube Transport (ETT) patent, as the transportation system is called, was awarded in 1999. Daryl Oster, who has been refining his ETT ideas since 1980, has partnered with transportation engineer Dr. Zhang Yaoping and Together they have sold a few dozen project licenses to five different countries, many of which were bought by China.

The system could also be adapted for shorter distances, perhaps by replacing intercity bus lines or trains in large cities. If the idea succeeds, humanity can enjoy a cheap and affordable mode of travel. While the future is not coming, it may be best to continue monitoring websites with airfare promotions.
