Understand why we love kissing so much [video]

Suddenly you meet that amazing person and all you want in life is to kiss her. By following your desperate urge, you do what is best in certain situations: buy a drink, call to the movies, compliment and, suddenly, the kiss. If you are more modern, you may only need 15 minutes inside the club to achieve this feat.

The question is why do we feel like kissing after all? If you look at the act of kissing coldly, you will find that it is actually quite strange indeed. The good old news is that Science is on our side once again to try to unravel what's behind the kiss.

According to an article posted on the Gizmodo website, kissing has some (bizarre) relationship to unaware memories of the time when we were beautiful, fat and cute babies.

Scientists say the kiss has to do with the fact that, in the past, mothers used to chew their son's food before feeding him, and this whole oral relationship from childhood seems to have rooted in our behavior the strong notion of love and affection. . Does it make sense to you?

Some curiosities about the kiss:

  • An average person spends 20, 160 minutes of his life kissing;
  • The longest kiss record is 58 hours and 35 minutes;
  • The kiss burns 3 calories per minute;
  • We can instinctively identify through saliva whether our partner is healthy or not;
  • Through the kiss we notice the pheromone levels in our partner;
  • Reduces stress levels and bad cholesterol.
